It was always meant to be a toss-up between these two actresses. But, according to an insider, it is Shraddha Kapoor and not Alia Bhatt who has reportedly bagged Golmaal Again. When filmmaker Rohit Shetty was planning the fourth instalment of his successful franchise, Golmaal, he was clear that besides his usual boy gang of Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar and Shreyas Talpade, he would also cast a younger hero and heroine. That's when the names of Alia and Shraddha cropped up.

Recently, the director is said to have told media persons that he may have his favourite leading lady Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is currently in the family way, do a guest appearance in his film or rope her in for a song. However, he didn't comment about his choice of a leading lady. Now, it seems Shraddha is the chosen one.
