Ratan Jain who had announced the sequel to Dhadkan, Dhadkan 2 — The Heart Beats Once Again, a year ago is said to have approached Sooraj Pancholi and Shraddha Kapoor for the lead roles played by Akshay Kumar and Shilpa Shetty in the original. Says a source, “The core of the film, which is an intense love triangle, will remain the same, but keeping the new age sensibilities in mind.” Buzz is that Fawad Khan has been approached for Sunil Shetty’s role.
