Parineeti Chopra is excited about her first world tour as her cousin Priyanka will come to cheer her in New York

Parineeti Chopra is excited about her first stage concert in the US. “I am going with my friends Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, Aditya Roy Kapur and Katrina Kaif. So it’s all cool and exciting. We are very excited about it and are rehearsing and readying our acts.” She adds, “This is the first world tour for all of us. We kick off in Houston on August 13, then LA, San Jose, Chicago, Orlando and New York.”

She continues, “Years ago I saw my sister Priyanka Chopra live on stage during her Temptations tour. And now, I am doing my own tour and I am getting to be on stage with my terrific colleagues. I couldn’t ask for more.” As a bonus, her cousin PC will be coming to see Parineeti and the rest of the ‘Dream Team’ in New York. “It’s the last show of our tour. And she has promised to come, whistle and cheer for me.”

Her item song in Dishoom will definitely feature on stage. “Varun and I are definitely going to perform that. I just wanted to do a song that gave me a chance to do the kind of songs Govinda and Karisma Kapoor did in the 1990s. Of course, Varun and I are no patch on them. To this day, we try to do what they did.” Pari’s looking at a hectic month of travelling.
