Before she moved in with Ranbir Kapoor into an apartment on Carter Road, Katrina Kaif had shown interest in buying a bungalow in the city. The actress and her manager had done the rounds of a few bungalows from Bandra to Juhu and also checked out some fancy sea-facing apartments, because back then, Kat was keen to buy herself a big home in the city of her dreams. However, an insider reveals that a  “bungalow or a fancy home in Mumbai is no longer something the Londonborn actress desires.“

The source says that in October, she will move out of the love nest which RK Junior and she lived in, and shift to her previous apartment at Guldev Sagar in Bandra. The two reasons for Kat not wanting to invest in a bigger and fancier property in Mumbai are - firstly, she is heartbroken over the way her recent relationship turned out and now she is not sure if she wishes to make this city her permanent home. Mumbai is her workplace and she will continue spending time here. Secondly, buying a bungalow in the city, even for investment purposes, doesn't make sense to her. It is being suggested that Kat may indeed buy herself a dream home in some other world capital.

Now, whether this is a temporary disenchantment with Mumbai or a permanent one, no one can tell.
