Ever since the sequel of Baaghi (2016) was announced, its casting has been drawing a lot of attention. According to sources, while Tiger Shroff will be playing the lead again, either Jacqueline Fernandez or Kriti Sanon will bag the role opposite him in the second instalment, which is being produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.

While Jacqueline has worked with Sajid's banner in the Housefull franchise and Kick, Kriti's debut, Heropanti, was produced by him, too and she considers him her mentor. It will be interesting to see who bags the coveted project.

Also, the sequel will be directed by choreographer-director, Ahmed Khan and not Sabbir Khan, who helmed the first. Sources say Sabbir has to move on to his next with Tiger, which is why he has handed over the baton to Ahmed. Our source adds, “Ahmed is a fabulous choreographer and Tiger, a fantastic dancer. Their combination will be really good.“
