Says a source, “A family based in the US, who suffered a personal tragedy, was desperately in need of Rs 5 lakh to lay a loved one to rest. The family was left wanting for funds to pay for the deceased’s funeral rites, which are expensive in that part of the world. Kunal posted on his social media accounts, asking people to come forward and help the family. When Hrithik learnt about it, he asked for details details and asked his team to transfer the amount to the account of one of the family members of the departed. Hrithik is known to be a very giving person who always steps in to help those in trouble and need.”

Kunal shares, “Ketto was raising money for a family that had been hit by a tragedy. I put a post on social media, which Hrithik read. He called me and said he wanted to help the family. This is not the first time he has come forward to help. I hope a lot more people come forward and support such social and individual causes.”
