Govinda ruled the roost for years with series of full-blown masala films. Now, his son Yashvardhan, 20 is however, keen on dabbling with commercial as well as indie cinema. Like most of our new breed of actors who started out as assistant directors before facing the camera, Yash is following suit. The youngster worked in the marketing team of Sajid Nadiadwala's recent film and will be an AD on his next. “While gaining experience on the set of commercial films like most star-kids, Yash also wishes to work with a filmmaker like Anurag Kashyap and understand his brand of cinema“, a source revealed.
