The release of Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay is still two months away. But the film’s theatrical trailer is ready to be unveiled on August 7 in Indore. And it’s almost 3 minutes and 40 seconds long!

Ajay showed the promo to select few a few days ago. A source reveals the highlights. “The opening shot, which is also his introduction shot, shows him imprisoned and then immediately looking at the camera. His intensity works magic in that scene. Also, Ajay, who’s directed the film, has also shot some breathtaking mountain shots and action scenes.”

But Ajay has consciously avoided giving anyone a hint of the film’s plotline. “Even after watching the trailer, you don’t know what the story is. AJ has focussed more on the action.”

The source further revealed, “Ajay, who was present at the preview, also mentioned that there would be a second trailer launch closer to the film’s release which will reveal the story. However, the villain won’t be revealed in either trailer.”

Dilip Kumar’s grand niece Sayyeshaa Saigal is also a part of Ajay’s directorial venture. But, says the source, “She’s barely there in this trailer. Maybe two shots, of about six seconds in total. There’s also a child Ajay introduces with this promo.”
