UDTA PUNJAB had a low second week dropping over 80% for collections of 9 crore nett apprx. This takes the total two week collection to around 56.50 crore nett. The film is best in North India with around 14 crore nett in Delhi / UP and 11 crore nett in East Punjab. Mumbai is around 15 crore nett after two weeks.
RAMAN RAGHAV 2.0 had a poor first week taking in 5.75 crore nett in week one. This sort of cinema is always likely to be rejected by the audience but with a low budget and a good release (for this content) it still could have covered even without appreciation but majority of the screens hardly had a turnout.
JUNOONIYAT grossed a poor 3 crore nett in its first week and is practically out of theatres. There were a few other releases but none of them could collect at the box office. ROUGH BOOK, a film which was released last year in Rajasthan made to Mumbai and the results were worse than Rajasthan.
INDEPENDENCE DAY: RESURGENCE is also a flop in India with 21.50 crore nett in week one and a likely 25 crore nett finish. Still the film is not as big a flop in India as it is in its domestic US /Canada market.
