"My character, Tara, is a widow who runs a cafe and lives with her two kids. She isn't bitter about how life has treated her and has a wicked sense of humour. At one point she falls in love with Neeraj's character with whom she has only interacted over the phone. The couple face stiff opposition when they decide to get together," Shefali informed Mirror, adding that she's contributed to the film outside of her capacity as an actor as well.
"Kanwal thinks and writes in German so the script had to be first translated into English and then into Hindi. In the process he was afraid that emotions would get diluted. So he made us act like we do in theatre. We were told to react to things like we would in real life. In that sense, I've been involved in creating the character from scratch," she concludes.
