Katrina Kaif will have quiet birthday celebrations on July 16. She turns 33. Also, she’s not one to have big bashes to bring the day in, so one can be sure it’s only going to be a family-and-friends event. Her family — her mother and two sisters are in the city — and a few close friends are going to be present at her sea-facing Bandra apartment, which she shared with her former boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor.

Says a source, “Her B-Town friends include Alvira Khan Agnihotri, Karan Johar, Ayan Mukerji, Sultan director Ali Abbas Zafar, Kabir Khan and his wife Mini Mathur, Sidharth Malhotra and her manager Reshma Shetty. They are all people she has known closely over the years and has partied with. They will probably be there with her.”

Adds the source, “Katrina has moved on post her break-up with Ranbir. She isn’t waiting around for him to return. She has accepted the split and now wants to be around people who love her and have been by her side for years.”
