Last week, Vikram Bhatt took on Kamaal R Khan on Twitter. The director slapped the motormouth with a defamation case for derogatory remarks towards him and on behalf of all B-Town actresses. Following that, KRK apologised to Bhatt who later tweeted to him saying, “It takes a lot of courage to correct your ways and accept it on a public platform. I admire you for it. I am sure everybody in our fraternity will accept your apology and applaud you for understanding!” Everyone is surprised that KRK backed off so quickly. No one knows that it was Emraan Hashmi who made this patch-up possible.

Says a source, “Emraan has been on holiday in the US since last week. He got a SMS from KRK telling him to sort out matters between him and Vikram as things had escalated beyond control. Emraan and KRK are buddies. During Azhar KRK had tweeted in support of the actor saying he would rock big time, something he rarely does.”

Emraan called Bhatt and asked him if a patch-up was possible. “Bhatt said that as KRK had insulted him on a public platform it was only fair that he apologise on a public platform to make amends. When KRK did that, Vikram was happy to accept the olive branch.” All’s well that ends well.
