Abhay Deol plays Bilal Ahmed in his next Happy Bhag Jayegi, a cross-border comedy of errors directed by Mudassar Aziz. A reluctant political heir with a closet passion for cricket, he dreams of playing for India after completing his education at Oxford.

No matter what he does, situations in Bilal's life land him in trouble. Naturally, he has no option but to resolve them to get ahead. Whether he is able to pursue his passion, despite his family member's wishes, who are keen to see him follow his father's footsteps in politics, remains to be seen.

The romcom, produced by Krishika Lulla and Aanand L Rai, also features Diana Penty as 'Happy', Jimmy Sheirgill and Ali Fazal.
