Ever since the announcement of Judwaa 2 (J2), there have been reports of Varun Dhawan looking into the film very closely. But the actor seems quite amused with these stories, and while talking to BT, he said “I am not, I don't know why people are saying that. The film has people like my dad David Dhawan helming it and a producer like Sajid Nadidwala. They know what they are doing, they don't need my advice or intervention.“

Speaking about J2, Varun confessed this one will be no mean feat, “I am trying to play it cool, but I am nervous about it.“ When asked about playing a double role in the film for the first time, he says, “ A lot of people told me not to do it, as it could get risky. But you know me, that's another reason I want to give it a shot. It's a challenge and I will go all out for it. I like stepping out of my comfort zone.“
