Tanuj Virwani and Akshara Haasan are both assisting Kamal Haasan as ADs on his forthcoming trilingual film in Los Angeles. It's a family get-together of sorts as Shruti Haasan is also acting in the film. Confirming the news, Tanuj said, “Yes, we are both working in LA and will later shoot in India.“ When asked about the family reunion, he laughed, “It's not a family reunion but it's a good experience for me as an aspiring director.“ This development also dismisses rumours of Akshara's parents not being in favour of her relationship with the actor. Earlier, Tanuj had told BT, “Her parents know me well and my parents are fond of her too.“

Talking about his link-up, the actor reacted, “I'm fiercely private. We have never denied being friends. We are open about it but sometimes it irritates me when people are only interested in knowing who you are dating.“
