Riteish Deshmukh’s last foray into television was as a judge on India’s Dancing Superstar. He will now host Viktaa Ka Uttar?, a Marathi game show for the first time for Star Pravah.

The B-Town actor has never forgotten his roots, always promoting the spread of Marathi culture. In fact, his banner only produces Marathi films. With VKU, “Riteish is in uncharted territory as he has never hosted for television before. But he has loved the concept and is game for it. He has always wanted to do something on Marathi television and he felt the timing was correct..”

About the show format, the source adds, “It’s a game show with a quiz - where you can buy answers and do well depending how good your bargaining skills are. The channel is planning a huge launch for the show and Riteish — the biggest in Marathi TV history. The campaign has already started and the show will begin airing from August or September onwards this year.”
