Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor might make every effort to avoid each other in real life. But next Christmas, they face-off at the box-office, as things stand now.

Ranbir’s superhero flick Dragon, helmed by Ayan Mukerji, goes on floors towards the end of this year and is expected to release in time for their scheduled release on December 25, 2017.

On the other hand, Salman has already okayed Rajkumar Santoshi’s next, which also stars Katrina Kaif, Ranbir’s ex-girlfriend. Santoshi is busy scripting the film while Salman finishes shooting for Kabir’s next which rolls next month.

Reveals a source, “Khan and Santoshi want a Christmas release next year. If that happens, it will not just be Ranbir versus Salman, but Katrina as well.” Touché!

Meanwhile...
Aamir, who usually takes up the Christmas slot, has not announced any film after Dangal, although he has okayed his manager Advait Chauhan’s next titled The Secret Superstar.

Shah Rukh too wanted to release Aanand L Rai’s film around the same time but the film’s script is still being re-worked while he begins Imtiaz Ali’s next this July.
