Mallika Sherawat who's made
Los Angeles her second base has become a bit of an elusive entity on
home ground. Even when she's back home, the actress prefers to stay in
the Versova building in which her brother Vikram Lamba also resides as
opposed to another apartment which is at a stone's throw away. But when
Mirror photographer Satyajit Desai tossed the idea of an impromptu
photoshoot in the rains, Madame M sportingly agreed.
She was visiting the flat next door with her sister-in-law, Vikram's wife Lavika, and suggested they do the session in the foyer. But just as Satyajit was ready to go click click, her neighbour Randeep Hooda walked in and was promptly invited to join the ladies. “Mallika and Randeep have known each other since their Delhi days and are extremely fond of each other. Initially, Randeep was reluctant about crashing the shoot but when told it was for Mirror he readily obliged. Even the rain gods conspired to make it just right with well-timed showers,“ Satyajit recounts.
When they weren't sharing the frame, the celebrity neighbours exchanged notes on their home state, Haryana. Their conversation mostly revolved around home and work after which they headed over to Randeep's for a steaming cuppa to continue with the charcha.
