Kushal Tandon recently posted some cozy pictures along with Ankita Lokhande on a photo-sharing site after which it was reported that the two could be dating. However, Kushal strongly refutes the buzz. He says, “It's not necessary for two people to be in a relationship just because they are single and goodlooking. I can't be linked with every friend I post a picture with. A girl's dignity and self-respect is also on the line when such baseless reports come out. I am a very private person and if I share a picture with a girl, that doesn't mean I am dating her.“

Kushal has been friends with Ankita and her ex-boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput since almost three years. “I share a great rapport with both of them. Ankita is going through a rough patch. I am with her as a friend,“ he says.

So, what do they talk about when they meet? “We don't sulk over our past. We talk about work and bond over music and spirituality. We are close and that doesn't necessarily mean we are in a relationship,“ he replies. But could their friendship materialise into anything more in the near future? “We are friends and are there for each other. I can't predict what would happen with me the next moment. It's a stupid link-up and we laughed over it,“ he answers.

And what about being in touch with his exes, including Gauahar Khan? “I am old school and I don't believe in being friends with my exes. I don't like to hang around with them or know about their lives. Rather than my personal life, the focus should be on my work,“ says Kushal who will soon be seen in the TV show Behadh.
