It can now be confirmed that Rohit Shetty’s next film is with Ajay Devgn. It will be the next installment in the Golmaal series. Rohit’s first few films were with Ajay, then he did two films with SRK and now they reunite after Singham Returns.

Says a source, “No one knows if there really was a problem between the two, but things seemed to have cooled down between the two buddies. When reports of their rift kept on growing neither uttered a word against the other. Rohit was to make Ram Lakhan after Dilwale, but that has not taken off and now, Rohit will begin work on Golmaal 4 and it will go on floors soon.”

Rohit and Ajay had been trying to meet Ajay for months but the meeting wasn’t happening as the star was busy with his directorial venture Shivaay. The source adds, “Despite their differences, both are very fond of each other and Rohit messaged Ajay to meet and discuss things. On Thursday night, Ajay called the director to his Juhu bungalow. They met and spoke for over three hours. Ajay told him how hurt and upset he is by some things he’d heard. Even Rohit got equally emotional. It was an emotional reunion where both cleared their differences and then discussed Golmaal 4, which should roll by the end of the year once scripting is complete. Rohit never forgets the fact that Ajay had given him his directorial break in Zameen.”
