Priyanka Chopra returns to Mumbai today after a long spell of shooting in Canada and the US for TV show Quantico and Hollywood flick, Baywatch. Just before her return, PeeCee has been giving interviews in the US. When asked by a leading American daily if she would like to be the next Bond girl, Priyanka stated, “I get that all the time. But f** k that — I wanna be Bond.” She added, “I don’t know where I will win, but I know I want to keep moving, keep going. When I achieve something then I’m like, all right, what’s next?”

There was buzz that the actress and her contemporary, Deepika Padukone were in the race to be the next Bond girl and auditioned to be part of the next 007 film. Is this PC’s way of sending across a subtle message to Deepika, the other Bollywood export to Hollywood, about who the bigger actress is? Hmmm.
