Mirror (May 7) had earlier reported that the second instalment in the Bang Bang franchise kicked off with Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez in SoBo on Saturday with and Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK replacing Siddharth Anand as directors. Now, we have learnt that Darshan Kumaar who played Priyanka Chopra's husband in the Mary Kom biopic and Awais Sheikh who fought Sarabjit Singh's case in another Omung Kumar-directed upcoming biopic, has come on board as the main antagonist. He is expected to join the shoot in a few days.

A source from the team reveals, "Sidharth and Darshan play friends-turned-foes who are part of the same gang and clash due to their conflicting personalities. Darshan is currently prepping for his stylised look in the film." The actor chose not to comment. The film will be shot in Mumbai, Miami and Malaysia.
