On April 10, the Roosevelt
Hotel in Los Angeles was transformed into George RR Martin's Westeros.
The Hall of Faces was recreated with the dead on the wall, and the wine
flowing resembled an after-party hosted by the Night's Watch. Dressed in
a black, off-shoulder gown, Khaleesi aka Emilia Clarke made a style
statement as she laughed with Game of Thrones creator David Benioff's
actress-wife Amanda Peet. When former Miss India and Virasat actress
Pooja Batra, who makes her Hollywood debut with the sci-fi, One Under
the Sun, walked into the Kodak theatre, Aidan Gillen (Lord Baelish),
Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister) and Alfie Allen (Theon
Greyjoy), were happily chatting away with Gloria Ortega. The GoT cast,
along with VIP invitees, were privy to the first episode of Season Six,
two weeks before the rest of the world, and they only had good things to
share. “This Season takes the story to another level. David Benioff is
pure genius,“ exulted avid-watcher Batra. “There will be one more season
after this and they're launching a sequel to the show,“ she reveals.
Batra told Benioff she loved his 'Director's Cut' of Troy (featuring
Brad Pitt), more than the Producer's Cut.
Maisie Williams, 19, (Arya Stark) stole the show in a floral skirt and a monochrome top with metallic heels. She pranked fans by pretending to be a retailer selling the show's memorabilia, and on Sunday, crashed a viewing party at a university.
