Varun Dhawan will groove to two very popular Salman Khan songs in the Judwaa sequel directed by his father

A little birdie tells us, “Producer Sajid Nadiadwala, who produced Judwaa, is also producing the sequel. He plans to include two hit songs from the original film — Oonchi Hai Building and Chalti Hai Kya Nau Se Baarah. These two songs are so popular that they are still played at events and parties. Hence, the makers decided to incorporate those songs in the sequel.”

Says an industrywallah, “While Salman’s forte has been action and comedy, Varun is a fabulous dancer (which is why he was chosen to do a dance film — ABCD 2 — so early on in his career), so it will be interesting to see Varun recreating these dance tracks in Judwaa 2.” And like Salman, Varun has a double role in Judwaa 2.

David says they are considering options. “We have not yet decided if we want to have these songs in the film yet. The scripting is still on, but yes, the songs are our property and we will take a decision once everything is finalised. We have the option of using them. Everybody knows my films are full-on entertainers. What better than to have some of these chartbusters that Salman has danced to and made so huge, recreated with Varun dancing to them? We want to do the best for the film.”
