Last week, Sanjay visited Khan. Does this mean they’re collaborating?

Sanjay Leela Bhansali dropped in to meet Salman Khan at the latter’s house last week. The director came by late evening and stayed for a few hours, just chatting with the actor.

Sanjay directed him in Khamoshi (1996) and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999). Their friendship became strained when SLB approached Hrithik Roshan for Guzaarish, a subject recommended by Salman. Their friendship soured and despite many attempts by Bhansali, the actor didn’t accept the olive branch. Until now.

Sanjay has not yet announced his next film after Bajirao Mastani. So does this mean that the duo will be working together? “No”, says an insider. “This meeting had nothing to do with work. Sanjay is very fond of Salman and just wanted to meet and spend time with him, now that he has free time on his hand.”

While Salman has been miffed with the director, he shares a close bond with SLB’s mother Leela and sister Bela. He remains in touch with them. He even wished Leela on her birthday recently.
