After his much-publicised split with Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor has been diligently keeping a low profile, even escaping to Barcelona recently with a few close friends for some football fun. Now, Mirror has learnt that the 32-year-old actor took another baby step towards moving on, around two weeks ago.

Following the break-up, he had moved back with his parents in the Krishna Raj bungalow at Pali Hill from the plush Bandra love pad he had rented with Kat. Now, it's back to the bachelor life with a studio apartment on Hill Road. Not many are aware that while he's been partying away with industry buddies, Ayan Mukerji, Karan Johar and Aditya Roy Kapur, Ranbir has quietly moved into the new home which is smaller and cosier than his last residence.

"The apartment in a nondescript building in a narrow lane is close to his parents' place, he likes it that way. And he has been living it up, though, as yet, only a handful of people know he lives here," reveals a friend of the actor. The new pad has windows opening up to a wall and not to the sea like his love nest or even the street. Obviously, Ranbir wants to get over his heartbreak away from prying eyes.

His former flame is away in Bangkok, filming Nitya Mehra's time-travel-romance Baar Baar Dekho, in which she is paired opposite Sidharth Malhotra. Ranbir's been working on Anurag Basu's Jagga Jasoos. The erstwhile couple will reunite on an extensive Morocco schedule of the film, which begins on March 22.
