Jai Gangaajal, a joint production between Prakash Jha Productions and Play Entertainment and directed by Prakash Jha, features Priyanka Chopra. The film is set in the hinterland with Priyanka Chopra playing S P Abha Mathur who takes on the powerful and influential politicians in a small town district called Baankeypur.

Play Entertainment is also venturing into worldwide distribution of films with their very first production.

Says Milind Dabke, Head, Play Entertainment and co-producer of Jai Gangaajal, "Jai Gangaajal is a commercial yet meaningful cinema, that talks about Police Society relationship. Given our confidence in our Film we have decided to go all out and self distribute the film worldwide ourselves."

Talking about the kind of films Play Entertainment would make in future, Milind says, "Films which are right on costs and have good content will be our priority. We are open for strategic alliances to produce and also distribute films worldwide, provided the numbers agree".

Besides Jai Gangaajal, we heard Play Entertainment already has an impressive array of movies lined up for both production and distribution in the time to come. "In about a week we will be announcing our next project which is a joint production with a very reputed Production house", Milind added.
