Shraddha Kapoor talks about her love for singing
Tushar Joshi (DNA; March 28, 2016)
Shraddha Kapoor’s love for singing doesn’t seem to
fade away. The actress has crooned yet another song in Sajid
Nadiadwala’s Baaghi. This time it is a love ballad called Sab Tera.
Director Sabbir Khan persuaded Shraddha to lend her vocals to the track.
Talking about the song she says, “We recorded Sab Tera in a couple of hours. For me it is very important that I am satisfied with the end result, so if that means taking some more time then it’s fine.” The actress says that her biggest critic back home is her father Shakti Kapoor. “Even though my relatives from mom’s side have been into music, my true critic is my father. While I get feedback from my entire family, it is my father who is my most honest critic.”
A lot of singers have certain rituals before entering the singing booth. Some of them go on vocal rest for a day others like to drink some sort of tea, does she have any such practice? “There is no ritual as such but all I do is try to avoid having anything too cold a couple of days before recording.”
On the international scene, Shraddha can’t stop obsessing over Beyonce. “She is my number one idol. I am totally in love with her vocals. She has a strong unique voice which is flawless. Beyonce is just phenomenally talented!”
