Salman Khan's little sister, Arpita Khan and her hubby Aayush Sharma welcomed their first born at 10 am on Wednesday at the Hinduja Healthcare Surgical at Khar. Their son, Ahil, entered the world under the supervision of Dr Kiran Coelho. Aayush, who had accompanied Arpita into the labour room and was there through the delivery, announced, “Our Prince has arrived.“ Ahil means Prince.

Since it was a planned C-section, the entire Khan-daan was present, including father Salim Khan, mothers Salma and Helen, sister Alvira and brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri, brother Sohail Khan with wife Seema. Amidst separation reports, sister-in-law Malaika Arora Khan, who was earlier conspicuous by her absence from Arpita's baby showers in Dubai and Mumbai in February, was also in the reception committee with hubby Abraaz Khan. So was her sister Amrita Arora Ladak.

The new mum's bhai, Salman Khan, reached the hospital at around 4 pm with his Jai Ho co-star Daisy Shah and beamed as he looked at his nephew. “Both Arpita and the baby, who weighs 3.2 kg, are doing fine. They will be in the hospital for another three to four days,“ informs a source close to the family.
