Tara Alisha Berry, who
began her Bollywood innings with Mastram in 2014 and The Perfect Girl last year,
is excited that the trailer of her upcoming film Love Games and its
song Awargi have generated a good response. The actress plays a woman who
is in an abusive relationship and finds her inner strength after
falling in love with Gaurav Arora's character. She says, “It's great to
hear people commenting on the chemistry Gaurav and I share in the Awargi
track and want to see more of us in the movie. Though it's a montage
song that traces the journey of our relationship, it has been executed
with a certain depth that has added intensity to our characters'
emotions.“
Quiz her if she was apprehensive about shooting intimate scenes for the romantic thriller and Tara concedes, “All of us express love through physical affection, whether it is as kids, holding hands or making love. Shooting any scene where you're vulnerable can get uncomfortable. Thankfully, I had Vikram sir (director Vikram Bhatt) to guide me. And even Bhatt saab (Mahesh Bhatt) was there to help me overcome any nervousness.“
As for working with Gaurav, the actress says she got to know him better during the course of the movie. “We became good friends and that helped us share a comfort level. With Love Games, I have found friends in Gaurav and Patralekhaa and mentors in Vikram sir and Bhatt saab,“ she sums up.
