We were the first to report
that Varun Dhawan was recently upset about a female fan not feeling
confident enough to take a picture with him. This led him to take up a
cause of celebrating the unique style of every Indian girl. The actor
was approached by fbb, the leading youth fashion brand, as they felt the
cause was really important and needed to be taken up. fbb India, backed
by Femina Miss India, Kara Wipes and Radio Mirchi, are working with him
to create a platform - Varun's Style Buddy, which will offer a stage to
girls across the country, motivating them to be confident and
celebrate their own style. The young heartthrob will encourage them to
share their fashion quotient confidently. As part of Varun's Style
Buddy, the most promising girls will be a part of an fbb ad with him.
Apart from this, one lucky girl will get a wildcard entry to Femina Miss
India 2016 and another will become the face of India's popular wipes
brand, Kara.
Varun, supported by the brand, aims to encourage every young Indian girl to create her own style statement through her personality and inspire India. According to him, all one needs to do is uphold her 'vivacious' 'confident' and 'real' self to motivate him and be his style buddy.
