Filmmaker teams up with a hit writer jodi for his next, a love story with an inspirational message

After launching star kids, Athiya Shetty and Sooraj Pancholi, in the 2015 romance-actioner Hero, Subhash Ghai is all set to return with his next production. The 71-year-old filmmaker has teamed up with Saiwyn Quadras and Sanyuktha Chawla Shaikh, the writer duo behind the success of a recently released biopic. The jodi has been working on the script since the last six months and Ghai is set to make an official announcement soon.

"Saiwyn and Sanyuktha are in charge of the script, dialogues and screenplay. The script is locked, we are giving it the final touches. It is a love story with an inspirational message, just like the writers' previous work," says Ghai, adding that he will start casting soon.

"I'm confident about this film because my writers are brilliant," he beams. While Saiwyn has previously written the screenplay for Omung Kumar's hit directorial debut, Mary Kom, Sanyuktha has penned the screenplay of her husband Samar Shaikh's Vidya Balan-starrer 2014 dramedy, Bobby Jasoos, produced by Dia Mirza and her husband, Sahil Sangha.
