On Saturday afternoon, Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad was bursting at the seams. There were cheers for Mumbai Heroes owner Sohail Khan, brand ambassador Kriti Sanon and players, including Bobby Deol, Riteish Deshmukh, Saqib Saleem and Aftab Shivdasani. But it was when Bhai walked into the field that the crowds went crazy. Salman Khan air-dashed with a posse of bodyguards headed by Shera, and a bevy of ladies - Sangeeta Bijlani, Zareen Khan, Daisy Shah and Kriti Sanon. SK's jadoo ki jhappis were reserved for nephew Nirvaan and selfies for director Apoorva Lakhia's teenage daughter, who arrived with her pals. Sunny Deol was there to promote his action-drama, Ghayal Once Again and as his dhai kilo ka haath worked the bat, Sallu shouted from the stands, “Once more, once more.“

Chaos broke out when the actor headed for lunch. People were shoved out of the way by his security, cell phones smashed and fans thrown out of the dining area as Sallu settled into a forcibly emptied corner. He dined with Bijli and Daisy who walked in hand-in-hand, with Kriti in tow.

The Bengal Tigers trumped over the Mumbai Heroes who were “terribly sad to lose after four weekends of gruelling coaching“. But Armaan Kohli, along with hosts Sallu and Sohail, put them in a party mood.
