The musical love story marks the debut of Rinil Routh and Adeel Chaudhary

Writer-filmmaker Vivek Kumar is all set to introduce two fresh faces to Bollywood Rinil Routh and Adeel Chaudhry - in his upcoming romantic musical Rhythm. Their jodi is not only fresh but also unique. While Rinil is a New York-based actress of Indian origin who is trained in Hip Hop, Contemporary Dance, Street Jazz and Kathak, Adeel is a Pakistani singer-actor based in Canada.

The performer says, “Apart from government events, I also sung at musical shows in North America. Singing on stage will always be my first love as it gives me an adrenaline rush. When I am acting, I love to be someone who is a far cry from my real persona. As the camera stops rolling, I become a calm and shy person who doesn't like to talk much. I realised this while shooting for this romantic drama. My career as an artiste has evolved over time and I have become more sensitive to the smaller details of life. Now I feel and express more.“

Adeel reveals that as his co-star and he had lived abroad, they could relate to their characters in the film. He elaborates, “Rinil and I have one thing in common - we have spent most of our life in the US and Canada respectively. This helped us get into our characters as both of us play international students in the movie.“

Rinil mentions that her career abroad has paved her path in Hindi cinema. “I moved to New York at a young age with my family. I knew I wanted to be a dancer after watching an enchanting performance at the Radio City Hall Christmas Show. Fortunately, my parents recognised my talent and enrolled me in Hindustani Classical music and Kathak classes. Later, I trained in other forms. I have danced my way through life and landed in Bollywood,“ she signs off.

Rhythm, produced by Vicky Films Pvt Ltd and presented by RN Kumar, releases on February 19.
