On January 14, comedian Kiku Sharda, who has risen to fame with his cross dressing act as the bumbling Palak on Comedy Nights with Kapil, was jailed after bhakts of Gurmeet Rahim Singh Ji Insan, the Dera Sacha Sauda chief, filed a complaint against him for his act on a year-ender show for Zee TV on December 27.
While the Punjab and Haryana High Court on Thursday extended the stay on his arrest till March 10, the godman himself is ready to roll with the third instalment of his MSG The Warrior - Messenger of God franchise, in Mumbai, after announcing the title, MSG: Online Gurukul, on February 1. He revealed that the film will be shot, Hollywood-style, by NRI director, Sukhwant Singh. Poonam Dhillon will play a key role.
"Normally, warriors fight for land, extension of their kingdom's boundaries or wealth, but my film is about a true warrior, who fights for the respect of women. Later, he wins hearts and fame across the entire world," he informed.
Singh, who launched a new range of healthy noodles last month, reveals that he is learning the ropes of marketing and digital tools. His films will be modern as well. Turns out, the MSG warrior also fights cyber crime.
