Amid speculations about Jay Bhanushali's marriage with Mahhi Vij in trouble and the couple vehemently denying it, they now find them selves in the centre of yet another drama. This time, the actor picked a fight with a man, who tried to misbehave with his wife during the wee hours of Friday morning at a nightclub in Santacruz.

Informs an eyewitness, “Mahhi and Jay were accompanied by the actress' brother and actor Kunwar Amarjeet Singh. While they were at the bar, a man standing close by started staring at Mahhi. Jay ignored it at first. But he continued to stare, making her uncomfortable. The couple moved to another table, but to their horror, the man not only turned up at the new table, but also blatantly stood in front of Mahhi. When Jay confronted him, he said that he just wanted to exchange customary greetings with her. He flatly refused to move. The argument escalated to such a level that they had to almost drag the man out of the club. Finally, the staff intervened and the warring parties were separated.“

Confirming the incident, Mahhi says, “He made me extremely uncomfortable. He continued to stare despite my brother telling him that I was a married woman. If he were a fan, we would have understood and respected that fact, but he wasn't. What he did was uncalled for.“
