For weeks, Aarya Babbar dodged questions about his impending nuptials with girlfriend, Jasmine Puri. All queries by Mirror on Sunday were met with claims that he wasn't getting married anytime soon, with the actor going so far as to clarify on the social media, posting, "I just love how everybody is getting the date of our marriage wrong." Turns out, he tied the knot in a hush-hush ceremony on February 21.

The groom sported a pink sherwani with a pagdi while the bride dazzled in a pink lehenga-choli on the D-Day. A day before the ceremony, Aarya had teased his followers with a picture of him covered in haldi. "Last day of bachelorhood and I can't even recognise myself," he laughed.

Actor-turned-politician Raj Babbar's son and Jasmine, who had been dating for two years, got hitched in a traditional Sikh ceremony at a gurudwara in Andheri. Aarya had first bumped into his new bride, who works with a production house in the city, at her work place. The couple's family and close friends, including Karishma Tanna and Upen Patel, were present at the wedding.
