When Sanjay Dutt walks out a
free man today from Yerawada Central Prison, Pune (after serving a
five-year term for illegal possession and destruction of an AK-56 rifle,
just before the 1993 blasts), his wife Manyata and other members of
the Dutt family are expected to be present outside the prison. You may
also spot director Siddharth Anand in Dutt's welcome party. Sources
indicate that the 57-year-old actor will start his new innings in
Bollywood with an action adventure that will be helmed by the Bang Bang
director.
One source adds, “It is a big-scale action film that will be shot across six countries. The female lead is yet to be finalised. The film is expected to take off this summer and is likely to release this year itself.“
Obviously, Dutt would need some time to get acclimatized to the outside world. And though he is in better physical shape than he ever was, the actor will need preparation to face the arclights again.
