Farah Khan welcomed two puppies from a Mumbai-based NGO, World For All, into her home yesterday.
The filmmaker has been attending the NGO's 'adoptathons' for two years
and daughter Anya was eager to adopt some pups.
“They're a brother-sister pair, I couldn't think of separating them. They arrived when Avinash Gowariker (photographer) and his wife had come over for lunch so we did an impromptu photo session,“ says Farah, who's named them Gulab and Jamun. “They're brown and black and we wanted Indian names,“ she says, adding that the NGO does a lot for the stray adoption model.
