Remo D'Souza has roped in his ABCD 2 leading lady, Shraddha Kapoor, for a special appearance in his upcoming superhero flick, A Flying Jatt, featuring Tiger Shroff and Jacqueline Fernandez. "I'm happy to have my lucky mascot back but it's not a singing-dancing part," the choreographer-turned-filmmaker is quick to point out. "Shraddha and I share a close bond. I asked her to do the part just last week and she agreed immediately."
After debuting with Heropanti, Tiger Shroff has been busy pumping iron for this Jatt drama, earlier titled Turbanator. The actor plays a Punjabi with special powers. His costumes reflect the Nihangs, the Sikh warrior clan. Not only will Tiger kick and punch, but like his mentor and preceding superhero, Hrithik Roshan, he will also be busting out some Michael Jackson-style moves.
On Friday afternoon, Shraddha joined him on the Flying Jatt sets. "It was like filming ABCD 2 again as it's the same unit. Shraddha was hooting and dancing with all the assistants. It is only a day's work. She plays a damsel in distress. It's an interesting incident with the spotlight on her," Remo informed.
Shraddha's been filming Sabbir Khan's Baaghi: A Rebel For Love and Shujaat Saudagar's Rock On 2.
Meanwhile, Mad Max: Fury Road's super-villain and wrestler, Nathan Jones, who makes his Bollywood debut with the project, has been filming hard-core action sequences too. The seven-footer Hollywood actor's costume is made of complete metal and he sports a massive tattoo of a Hognose snake, a crucial part in the narrative. "We're halfway through the shoot. If everything goes well, all of us will fly off to an overseas location for a song," Remo signs off.
