Adeel Chaudhry is the latest import from across the border who will make his debut in the Hindi film industry. The actor-singer, who started out with the hit Pakistani TV series Kaisay Tum Se Kahoon, established his first connect with the Indian market through a commercial for a cola brand. The success of his maiden album, Koi Chehra and an award for the song Move Your Body further consolidated his India connect.

Now, after doing three ads with Shah Rukh Khan, the Canada-based artiste is gearing up for Bollywood with the romantic musical Rhythm. The film, which has been shot in the scenic locales of Poland, releases next month. It is written, directed and produced by Vivek Kumar, and presented by RN Kumar.

The filmmaker says, “I always wanted to cast fresh faces and it was important for me to rope in an actor with whom the audience could connect. The moment I saw Adeel's audition, I knew he was perfect for the role. In fact, I had so much faith in him that I directly met him on the first day of the shoot.“
