Rinil Routh, a multitalented artiste, will kick-start her Bollywood journey with writer-director-producer Vivek Kumar's upcoming film Rhythm. The New York-based actor of Indian origin is trained in various dance forms like Hip Hop, Contemporary, Street Jazz and Kathak. The makers felt she was perfect for the female lead, Avantika, who is a dancer in the film.

Kumar says, “I chose her because she had all the qualities that I wanted for Avantika's character. Rinil is a true Indian at heart. As she is from New York, she has the right attitude that was required for the role. Apart from being a fantastic actor, she is a trained dancer. Since my film is based in an international university, I wanted artistes, who were from different parts of the world, so that their characters in the film looked authentic.“ The romantic musical, presented by RN Kumar, also stars Pakistani actor-singer Adeel Chaudhry.

Rhythm releases on February 19, 2016.
