Pulkit Samrat's affair with Yami Gautam has had the grapevine buzzing off late. The two were away in snow-capped Manali and Shimla for months together, filming their upcoming love story, Sanam Re, with the unit privy to the goings-on. This adversely affected his marriage, leading to him separating with wife Shweta Rohira last November.

Pulkit and Shweta had been dating for a long time before they eloped and secretly tied the knot on May 3, 2010. Four years later, the couple re-married with band, baaja, barat and the blessings of Shweta's rakhi brother, Salman Khan, on the same date. But 10 months after their big fat Punjabi wedding, rumours of a rift surfaced. This was when Pulkit and Yami were also wrapping up their second film together, Junooniyat. By the end of November, the actor had moved out of his Mumbai apartment and shifted to Delhi, where he was rumoured to be living in with Yami.

When contacted, Shweta Rohira stated matter-of-factly that she had not met Pulkit or had any communication with him for the last three months. “My husband and I have been living apart for a while now. He told me that he was separating from me because of his family. I'm reconciled to this fact,“ Shweta told Mirror.

And what about Yami and Pulkit being more than good friends? “All of that doesn't concern me anymore. I have not spoken to Pulkit and I am not aware of what is going on in his life,“ she revealed.

Interestingly, the latest buzz is that Pulkit, concerned about the fact that his image was getting tarnished by his closeness to Yami, has decided to walk away from the actress and into his parents' home.

His real life romance seems far more interesting than some reel life romances. May be Pulkit should turn into a scriptwriter soon!
