Ameesha Patel and Sunny Deol, who first paired up on screen for Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (2001), a period romance set against the partition, are all set to recreate the magic. After 14 years, the two actors will be seen romancing each other in Bhaiyyaji Superhit. Director Neeraj Pathak is excited to cast the two actors, and seeing their camaraderie on set, it didn't seem the duo was working together after such a long gap. During the Mumbai schedule, co-actor Arshad Warsi joined the team, following which the whole unit had a ball of a time. Although Ameesha also acted with Sunny in Teesri Aankh - The Hidden Camera (2006), they weren't cast opposite each other in the movie.
