Jacqueline Fernandez, who had been filming for Rohit Dhawan's upcoming action adventure, Dishoom, with John Abraham and Varun Dhawan in Mumbai, took off to her home in Sri Lanka last Sunday. She re-united with her childhood buddy, New York-based model-actor, Adam Caldera, who kept her smiling all week long. “The two had started off their modelling careers together. Jacky and Adam have been close since she began ramp walking. In 2006, she was crowned Miss Universe Sri Lanka. After that, both moved out of Colombo to pursue their respective careers. Jacky entered Bollywood while Adam headed out to the Sex and the City land,“ a source close to the actress told Mirror.

Since then, the actress has been linked up with a Bahraini royal, Kick co-star Salman Khan and Arjun Kapoor. But she has always laughed off the rumours and has kept Adam in hiding all this while. He is a Ford supermodel, a Sri Lankan adventurer and on his way to becoming a doctor. To top it, he has an eight-pack, is a fitness freak who like Jacky sips wheat grass shots and practises Pilates six days a week. He also shares her love for animals. Jacky was missing her pet cat, Miu Miu, when on holiday, and Adam was more than ready to cheer her up. “The two shot for three days for a jewellery brand and spent the rest of the time travelling together. They will be back in Colombo next month and will be endorsing multiple brands as a couple,“ says the source.

Meanwhile, Adam shared pictures from their working holiday on a social networking site, saying, “What a crazy five days, 45 hours of travelling, 30 hours on the set and the chance to catch up with Jacqueline. Thanks for being way too awesome, it was amazing and you are incredible. Never change.“ Jacqueline was all giggles, adding, “We've come a long way from our Colombo modelling days. You're so 'vain-y'.“

Adam bid Jacky goodbye last evening as he flew back to the US, while she will hop cities to Dhaka, Bangladesh, where she will be part nering with anoth er hottie, Hrithik Roshan, for a two-day event.
