Actress Rani Mukerji, who is expecting her first child with husband, filmmaker Aditya Chopra in January, was admitted to Mumbai's Hinduja Hospital last week following minor complications.

She was advised rest under medical supervision. On Monday morning, she was discharged but she chose to continue her stay in the hospital because the baby's room at their Juhu residence is being done up and her doctors didn't think the actress should be exposed to all the dust, dirt and noise in her delicate condition.

Mirror photographer, Raju Shelar, snapped Aditya leaving the hospital after visiting his wife on Thursday. She is expected to be discharged in a few days.

The couple tied the knot on April 21, 2014, in a private ceremony in Italy. Rani's sister-in-law, TV actress Jyoti Mukerji confirmed that she's pregnant to Mirror (September 1).

Rani was in London in end July where she was spotted at a spa getting a pre-natal massage. UK is a frequent getaway for the Chopras but the baby will be born in Mumbai.
