TALVAR continued its strong run with collections around 1.60 crore nett on day eight which is the same as the previous day. The first day had grossed 2.50 crore nett but that was a national holiday. So if you take out the national holiday factor, the collections on day eight are similar to the real value of day one.

The film will show big growth on Saturday and the weekend business of the film will be better than the big budget SINGH IS BLIING which released on the same day. The eight figures ensure that TALVAR is set for a good run at the box office till Diwali which is four weeks away.

Looking at the trend the film will cross 30 crore nett which is a huge total for a film like this. It easily beats other art house type films which managed to collect at the box office like THE LUNCHBOX and PEEPLI LIVE. THE LUNCHBOX grossed 21 crore nett and PEEPLI LIVE with the support of Aamir Khan banner did 29 crore nett.
