The reunion will happen four years after they came together as Bigg Boss co-hosts

It will be a casting coup if Salman Khan manages to get Sanjay Dutt to play an important part in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Sultan. There is strong buzz in the Yash Raj corridors that Salman has requested Aditya Chopra to approach Dutt to play the role of a mentor in the film. Sanju is currently serving sentence in Yerwada jail in Pune and is expected to be out in Februrary 2016, when the film will be in the middle of its first schedule.

A source reveals, “Salman thinks that Sanju will be great in the role and they will have fun while shooting. Also, Dutt, who has been away is raring to go and wants to get back to work as soon as he is released. The talks are its early stages as Adi also needs to figure out if there will be any legal hassle during the making or the release of the film.”

The last time Salman and Sanju worked together on the big screen was in Chal Mere Bhai (2000). After that, they came together as co-hosts for the fifth season of Bigg Boss in 2011.
