There was a not-so-pleasant exchange of words between Rishi Kapoor and Karan Johar on Twitter this week. Karan tweeted about celebrating three years of Student Of The Year and how proud he is of his three proteges Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. Rishi Kapoor, who played a gay principal in the same film, asked KJo why he had forgotten to mention him. KJo replied, “Haha! Sir! I want to make you proud... You’re the best.” Rishi wasn’t mollified. He again wrote back saying that it was pointless of the filmmaker to try and fool him as he knew better. Following which there was silence from Karan’s side. Rishi’s son Ranbir is currently shooting with KJo for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and fans of the senior actor felt the situation could become uncomfortable so they requested him to remove his tweets. The senior actor did that and then peace reigned once again.
