Sultan tentatively goes on floors on November 22.
Salman Khan, who stars in the film as Sultan Ali Khan, a wrestler, has
already undergone a massive makeover as far as a body prototype is
concerned. The actor is looking bulkier, has gained over 10 kilos in
muscle and is sporting a buzz cut.
But amidst all this, there’s something fans don’t know! While international stunt director Larnell Stoval will guide Khan with the action manoeuvers, the team at Yash Raj Films is planning to get a prosthetic expert to work on his look.
A source from the production confirms the news, “YRF is planning to get a lot of international prosthetic experts to work on Salman’s body throughout the film. He will portray two different looks, albeit in the same age frame itself.”
While Aamir has also gained weight for Dangal, he plans to shed all of it and turn leaner to play the younger version later. But with Salman, that cannot happen. “The entire film will be shot in one schedule. The film starts in November and the team plans to wrap it by March end. So Salman might not get the time to switch between the two looks. Although it all depends on how Salman’s body is at that point of time, director Ali Abbas Zafar and Adi (Chopra) have decided to get prosthetic experts on board to make it look more authentic,” adds our khabroo.
